Free Quilt Block Pattern

The Sunflower quilt block is a simple nine patch design and would be a good choice for a new quilter as the patches are easy to construct.

This block is one of a series of flower quilt blocks and would be an especially nice addition to your "gardening" collection.

The design features both half square triangles (made using two different methods), as well as quarter square triangles, both units used extensively in quiltmaking. Enjoy!
