Two sample quilt layouts shown below illustrate the use of the Sunflower quilt block.

The quilt layout featured on the left sets the blocks on point and separates them with sashing strips for more definition. Several blank blocks add an extra splash of colour as well as the perfect spot to showcase your quilting design.

The quilt layout illustrated on the right also uses a diagonal block setting. By adding large corner triangles to each block you can achieve two goals -- to enlarge the individual blocks and the careful colour placement of these larger triangles gives an extra design element to the quilt.
