The sample quilt layouts illustrated give you two different looks. When setting the blocks side by side, the eye focuses on the sort of diamond shapes surrounding the centre part of each block. The quilt layout on the right uses an on point setting of the blocks, and the eye meanders in rows back and forth across the quilt. Either way, you will produce a striking quilt.
