The Swing in the Centre quilt block was new to me and I loved creating two very different quilt layouts for you to see.

The quilt layout illustrated below on the left sets both whole and half blocks on point with additional splashes of colour in the form of blank blocks to enlarge the quilt and also as a spot to feature your lovely quilting designs.

The quilt layout shown on the right uses a standard side by side block setting to produce an overall geometric design for your personal heirloom.
