The Springtime quilt block is the ideal choice to bring out those colours of the season. Different colours for the "flower" petals in in the block would make a lovely scrappy quilt. However, for these sample quilt illustrations, I chose to stick with the same colour scheme.

The quilt layout illustrated on the left sets full and half blocks out on point with an extra spark of colour in the blank blocks -- a perfect spot to showcase a lovely quilting design.

The quilt layout featured on the right uses a standard side by side setting of the blocks. Sashing strips separate them and offer up an additional spot for a pop of colour.
