The Sister's Choice Variation quilt block builds on the original Sister's Choice design by the addition of quarter square triangles to the mix. In this sample, a star motif appears in the centre of the block as a result.

The quilt layout featured below on the left sets the blocks on point, separating them with sashing strips for an additional design element.

The quilt layout illustated on the right also sets the blocks on point but enlarges each block with large, colourful corner triangles to add extra pops of colour and form a different look to the resultant quilt.
