The Scottie Dog quilt block might be a favourite block for both Scottish quilters as well as dog owners. Whatever the case, it's a cute addition to any quilt.
The block is a bit of a puzzle (and an easy puzzle to be sure), by placing the correct piece in the right spot. Other than that it's pretty simple to construct. It contains only simple patches -- squares, rectangles, half square triangles and quarter square triangle pieces.
By creating groups of patches and then sewing those together, it goes together in no time. Enjoy!
