The Rolling Wheel quilt block is a simple nine patch design creating pinwheels.

The quilt layout illustrated below on the left sets the blocks on point. The blocks are enlarged by adding corner triangles in different colours to achieve the "colour blocking" effect in the resultant quilt.

The quilt layout shown on the right also uses an on point placement of the blocks. By changing up the side setting triangles with different fabrics you can achieve an eyecatching design.
