BLOCKS by SIZE 9" Quilt Blocks

Sample Quilt Layouts

The Rat Pack quilt block looks a little boring (at least to me) at first glance. But take a close look at the sample quilt layouts shown below. The directional nature of the quilt block makes for some interesting designs when it comes time to create your own personal quilt. By rotating a single block by 90 degrees or by using a group of four blocks, all sorts of interesting secondary patterns can emerge. Will you create a different effect when using this quilt block?
