The two sample quilt layouts featured below are both designed using on point settings of the quilt blocks.

The quilt layout illustrated on the left adds large corner triangles to each individual block, thus increasing its size. The careful placement of the colour of these larger triangles gives an additional design element to the resultant quilt.

The quilt layout shown on the right uses sashing strips in the domininant colour to make each block appear to float. The blank areas allow for your quilting designs to stand out.
