BLOCKS by SIZE 9" Quilt Blocks

There is no question that 12" quilt blocks are the most commonly used. But at times, you want to make a block that is a little smaller and uses easy math. Enter the 9 inch block -- not too big and not too small, but just fits the bill.

The Nine Patch Road quilt block lends itself nicely to being creative in your choice of quilt design.

The quilt layout illustrated below on the left uses an on point setting of the blocks with colourful corner triangles on each block. Regardless of the arrangement of your chosen colours for these corner triangles, you will achieve a striking quilt as a result.

The quilt layout shown on the right also uses an on point setting of the blocks, but additionally uses half quilt blocks to produce a very geometric design.
