|BLOCKS by SIZE||10" Quilt Blocks|
What could be easier, math-wise, than a quilt block in a 10 inch size? Surprisingly, the 10" block is not the most commonly used size, (that would be the 12" block), but there are still many quilt blocks that fit into this category and here is my list of currently available patterns.
This Maple Leaf quilt block might be considered modern as it has a different look than the traditional Maple Leaf block, but still maintains a directional nature to its layout. This yields more opportunities for creativity in your quilt design layout. Simple 90 degree rotations of some or groups of blocks can produce different designs for your final quilt. Both of the quilt layouts shown below illustrate how these rotations are used to render two totally different looks to your final product.
