BLOCKS by SIZE 10" Quilt Blocks

What could be easier, math-wise, than a quilt block in a 10 inch size? Surprisingly, the 10" block is not the most commonly used size, (that would be the 12" block), but there are still many quilt blocks that fit into this category and here is my list of currently available patterns.

Jack's Blocks

Sample Quilt Layouts

The two sample quilt layouts below of the Jack's Blocks design, demonstrate these five patch blocks in very different arrangements.

The quilt layout illustrated on the left sets the blocks on point and separates them with sashing strips to add an extra design element. The plain, blank blocks offer an additional splash of colour while giving you a place to show off your quilting design.

The quilt layout featured on the right uses a standard side by side setting of the blocks and also separates them with sashing strips. However, the horizontal and vertical sashing use two different colours to change up the design, just a little.
