Free Quilt Block Pattern
The Hidden Star quilt block is a nine patch design which would be a welcome change in the list of "usual" blocks when teaching new quilters.
This block uses two pieced patches to make the design -- the half square triangle unit in each of the four corners, and the square in a square, which ultimately reveals the "hidden star" in the block.
