The Golden Gate quilt block is an easy nine patch design featuring only rectangles, a square and some half square triangles. It's a perfect choice for a beginner quilter.

The two sample quilt layouts are both using an on point setting, but each is in a style all its own. Similar, but quite a different end product. Add extra blank blocks for shots of additional colour and/or a spot to showcase your quilting designs.
