BLOCKS by SIZE 7.5" Quilt Blocks

Ten inch quilt blocks are a favourite of quilters. However if you are wanting to make a smaller version of any given 10" block, with a little finagling, the math for a 7½ inch block is not that difficult. And -- for the blocks below, I have done that math for you! A win-win!

Garden of Eden

Sample Quilt Layouts

The Garden of Eden quilt block is a smart choice to learn how to make the square in a square patch -- a frequently used unit in quiltmaking. This uneven nine patch block is easy to sew and makes for some wonderful quilt designs.

The quilt layout shown on the left uses the blocks set side by side, with sashing strips and additional blank blocks to form a geometric design. The quilt layout on the right uses a standard on point setting of the blocks with additional plain sections in the form of setting triangles with the idea of showcasing your quilting skills.
