BLOCKS by SIZE 10" Quilt Blocks

What could be easier, math-wise, than a quilt block in a 10 inch size? Surprisingly, the 10" block is not the most commonly used size, (that would be the 12" block), but there are still many quilt blocks that fit into this category and here is my list of currently available patterns.

Sample Quilt Layouts

The two sample quilts shown below both use a diagonal setting of the blocks.

The sample quilt illustrated on the left uses a standard on point setting of the blocks and separates them with sashing strips for a extra element of colour.

The sample quilt featured on the right also sets the blocks on point, but uses many plain blocks in the same dark fabric as one of the prominent ones in the design to make the blocks appear to "float" on the quilt.
