The Fool's Square quilt block is a simple five patch design and is perfect for a beginner quilter. However, for additional ease in the construction process, this block is sewn as an uneven nine patch block.

This block uses only squares, rectangles and half square triangles. Depending on your colour choices it could look like a flower in bloom or even a star. What interesting fabric choices will you choose?
