The Fanny's Favorite quilt block is a simple nine patch making good use of single half square triangle pieces to create a different unit.

The two sample quilt layouts shown below use the standard block settings -- side by side as in the quilt on the left and an on point setting of the blocks. Both quilts feature additional colour in the form of sashing strips or blank blocks for showcasing your quilting skills as well.
