|BLOCKS by SIZE||10" Quilt Blocks|
What could be easier, math-wise, than a quilt block in a 10 inch size? Surprisingly, the 10" block is not the most commonly used size, (that would be the 12" block), but there are still many quilt blocks that fit into this category and here is my list of currently available patterns.
Both of the sample quilt layouts shown below set the blocks on point, but give very different results.
The quilt layout featured on the left uses both full and half blocks and separates those with sashing strips. Several blank blocks are used as well for extra colour splashes and a spot to showcase your quilting designs.
Lots of extra colour pops are added to the quilt layout on the right, in the form of blank blocks. The careful colour placement of these blank blocks give an extra design element to the resultant quilt.
