The two sample quilts shown below using the Day Dreams quilt block are both created using diagonal settings of the blocks.

The quilt layout illustrated on the left sets both full and half pieced blocks and includes blank blocks to add a spot to feature your lovely quilting design.

The quilt layout featured on the right also utilizes an on point setting of the blocks and lots of extra colour in the blank areas in the centre along with the outer setting triangles. The sashing strips separating the blocks give additional interest to the final quilt.
