What could be easier, math-wise, than a quilt block in a 10 inch size? Surprisingly, the 10" block is not the most commonly used size, (that would be the 12" block), but there are still many quilt blocks that fit into this category and here is my list of currently available patterns.
The Cupid's Arrow Point quilt block makes for some really striking quilts. This block is a perfect choice for someone wanting to make a special quilt for a loved one.
The two sample quilt layouts illustrated below both give the impression of "plaid" -- (at least to me). Depending on whether you use a standard side by side quilt block setting or sew the blocks on point, you are guaranteed to produce a stunning quilt as a result.
