BLOCKS by SIZE 9" Quilt Blocks

There is no question that 12" quilt blocks are the most commonly used. But at times, you want to make a block that is a little smaller and uses easy math. Enter the 9 inch block -- not too big and not too small, but just fits the bill.

Sample Quilt Layouts

Two sample quilt layouts showing the Crossroads America quilt block in very different resultant quilts.

The quilt layout featured on the left sets each block side by side to indicate two very distinct paths for you to choose between.

The quilt layout illustrated on the right sets each block on point. The blocks are enlarged by adding large corner triangles to each. When these larger blocks are placed side by side, the colourful pattern emerges due to the careful placement of the fabrics used for the corner triangles.
