Free Quilt Block Pattern

This Crossroads America quilt block is a nine patch design featuring half square triangles and a patch that is underused (in my opinion) and I am fast become its fan -- the square in a square unit.

I believe the "crossroads" are the patches forming an "X" with different routes going in the opposite directions. (If you look closely, you will notice that the corner units differ slightly from each other, thereby creating the variation.)
