The Clown's Choice quilt block is a nine patch design. This block is a good choice for instructors in quiltmaking as a lesson two. It features primarily the quarter square triangle patch as the pieced component, along with several square patches.
The interest in this block comes with the placement of your colours and perhaps making a second block reversing some of the fabrics, as illustrated in the sample quilts on the following page.
