Both of the Chisholm Trail - Variation quilts shown below use sashing strips to separate the quilt blocks. This standard four patch quilt block is easy to sew and the resultant quilts can be created with ease as well. Your biggest challenge is selecting which quilt layout, (or one of your own) to choose to showcase these quilt blocks.
