|BLOCKS by SIZE||9" Quilt Blocks|
There is no question that 12" quilt blocks are the most commonly used. But at times, you want to make a block that is a little smaller and uses easy math. Enter the 9 inch block -- not too big and not too small, but just fits the bill.
The directional nature of this version of the Cedars of Lebanon quilt block lends itself to creating a secondary pattern when you rotate some of the quilt blocks by 90 degrees, as is shown in the quilt layout on the left. Or choose to feature additional colour in an on point layout of the blocks as evidenced in the quilt shown on the right.
