Sample Quilt Layouts

The two sample quilt layouts shown below using the Catch As You Can block both use on point settings of the block -- but are quite different from each other.

The quilt layout featured on the left uses a standard diagonal setting, alternating blank blocks with pieced ones. The different placement of the colour of the blank blocks is what gives an additional spark to the design.

The quilt layout illustrated on the right adds large corner triangles to each block and separates those with sashing strips. The careful colour choices for the corner triangles in the larger block is what makes this quilt shine.
