The Blackford's Beauty quilt blocks lend themselves nicely to leading the eye around the quilt with "paths" as is shown in the quilt layout on the left, which sets the blocks side by side. The quilt layout on the right sets the blocks on point in order to create additional interest and focus by using the blank blocks in strategic places for an entirely different look.
