A simple quilt block, as is the case here with the Black Hole block, can make for some inspiring quilts. The two sample quilts shown below both use on point settings of the blocks. But, as you can see, by switching up the colour of some blank blocks, and adding some sashing strips, you can achieve a totally different look.
