The two quilt layouts shown below using the Big Time quilt block could not be more different.

The quilt layout featured on the left uses a standard side by side setting of the quilt block ans separates them with sashing strips for an added design element.

The quilt layout illustrated on the right sets the blocks on point and with some additional blank blocks for that extra splash of colour and also a spot to showcase your quilting design.
