The sample quilts illustrated using the Autumn Leaves quilt block give you some idea of the versatility of this block. And, just to deviate from the norm, I used a dark fabric for the background for a change. (Most quilters prefer to use lighter fabrics for the background).

The quilt layout on the left features a side by side block setting, which produces a secondary pattern. The quilt layout on the right uses an on point block setting with additional blank blocks for extra pops of colour.
