|BLOCKS by SIZE||9" Quilt Blocks|
There is no question that 12" quilt blocks are the most commonly used. But at times, you want to make a block that is a little smaller and uses easy math. Enter the 9 inch block -- not too big and not too small, but just fits the bill.
The two sample quilts illustrated using the Amish Star quilt block are both set on point but with subtle differences -- one uses pieced blocks to cover the complete quilt, with added sashing strips to separate the blocks, while the other quilt features blank blocks to showcase your quilting skills. What will you choose as the setting for your quilt -- one of these or something you design?
