Free Quilt Block Pattern

The Arkansas Crossroad quilt block is a large four patch design comprised of only squares. (It is a little deceptive, because you see several triangles. That is addressed as another way to produce patches with half square triangles without working with fiddly triangular pieces.)

The only difficult part of sewing this block is to be sure to sew a precise quarter inch seam allowance on all of the patches. Once you master that skill, the block goes together seamlessly (sorry I couldn't resist ;-) )
