The Watermill quilt block is an easy design featuring only simple patches -- squares, rectangles and half square triangles.

Although technically an eight patch block (since it is created on an 8 x 8 grid), it is sewn as an uneven nine patch -- due to the makeup of the patches. Easy, peasy.
